Stranded British Airways passengers can travel on LNER services

Rail operator LNER has said that British Airways passengers who have had their journeys cancelled over the weekend can use their services for free.

Passengers can travel with LNER today, Monday 28th February, and Tuesday 1st March by simply showing their cancelled airline ticket as proof for carriage on LNER services in standard class.

LNER reinstated their full timetable back on the 14th February and operates services on the East Coast Main Line, connecting with , , and .

  • And Lumo as well even though they operate to Edinburgh Waverley and only stop at Newcastle and Morpeth.
