TikTok star appointed GB Railfreight brand ambassador

(GBRf) has appointed as its new brand ambassador – a social media star who has become famous for posting his videos of trainspotting on the video-sharing site TikTok.

Throughout 2022, will share his infectious enthusiasm, passion, and insights into the railway with his new role for GBRf. Francis will spread the word about the vital role of rail freight, and show what goes on behind the scenes at the company.

Francis first came to the attention of GBRf after his video of Class 73/9 locomotive No. 73962 Dick Mabbutt was viewed 12 million times on TikTok.

His enthusiastic trainspotting videos filmed across the rail network have made him a favourite on TikTok. He now has over 2 million followers on TikTok and over 1 million followers on Instagram.

This popularity has earned him appearances on ITV's ‘This Morning', as well as collaborations with big names such as ASOS and even linking up for a chat with football icon Thierry Henry. Francis has also been immortalised by having his image represented in street art in Brighton.
