Police appeal following racial abuse and assault at South London Underground station

Police officers are investigating an incident when two men racially abused and pushed a man travelling with his family as they alighted from a train at station.

They have now released CCTV images in connection with the incident, which occurred at 7 pm on Saturday, 11 December.

officers investigating the incident believe the men in these images may have information that could help their investigation.

  • It happens all the time. Assault and abusive behaviour on public transport is becoming a major problem on any transport. And many people don’t feel safe travelling on public transport which leads to anxiety.
