East Lancashire Railway opens booking for Dining with Distinction services

The (ELR) is set to deliver fabulous services for afternoons and evenings and will bring elegance and sophistication to their excellent first-class service for 2022.

Tickets are now on sale for ‘' experiences which will be held throughout 2022 for those with a love of food or those with a love of trains, with drinks, lunch and dinner onboard the traditional Pullman-style carriage.

ELR will be hosting themed nights throughout this year so why not raise a glass to Scotland's national bard Rabbie Burns with ELR's Burns Night Dinner, which comes complete with traditional haggis, cranachan and shortbread.

With Valentine's day just around the corner why not wine and dine with your significant other at ELR's Valentine's Night Dinner or celebrate England's legendary dragon slayer at the St George's Dinner. These are just a few examples of the themed events available with ELR this year!

Guests can be transported back in time enjoying the nostalgia with indulgent feasts or luxurious afternoon teas whilst hauled by a steam locomotive through the beautiful Irwell Valley.

With many ‘Dining with Distinction' experiences planned for 2022 everybody will be able to find something to enjoy from four-course ‘black-tie' Premium nights to Gin & Wine Tasting Nights and even Murder Mystery Nights.

ELR's Premium Night offer the ultimate in decadence providing guests with the chance to stroll down a red carpet to a glittering reception featuring delicious canapes, followed by a full four-course fine dining experience, live music and table magicians aboard an iconic locomotive.

Other popular themed events returning for 2022 will include ‘Italian Night Diner' and the four-course ‘Red Rose Diner' which offer the ultimate steam train dining experience.

ELR's calendar is crammed full of events including an assortment of dining experiences celebrating holidays and key dates.

The Trackside which is ELR's own heritage pub on platform 2 at Bury Bolton Station is a great place for drinks before heading for your dining experience.

The diners are receiving 5-star reviews on TripAdvisor and always sell out so, early booking is a must to avoid disappointment.
