As part of Axiom Rail Freight, Wabtec UK have procured the £8.2 million deal which will see bogies made for two 102T Box Wagon projects which are set to run in the UK once they are completed sometime during 2022.
The deal also marks the introduction and testing of the TF25 bogies 25 years ago.
The TF25 bogies are still a class leader in its field, making them the first choice bogie for many customers.
As many as 4,000 wagons throughout the UK are fitted with TF25 bogies and includes box wagons, hopper wagons and tank wagons.
Greenbrier has long supported the TF25 bogie and also other items offered via Axiom Rail Freights portfolio, having overseen the building of 2,800 wagons for the UK market that uses the TF25.
