The ultimate festive family fun experience this Christmas can be found onboard the Santa Express on The North Yorkshire Moors Railways Santa Specials!
With tickets currently on sale now, this popular event sees Santa and his Elves hop on board at either Pickering and Grosmont for a magical one-hour journey on the heritage railway, on selected dates throughout December.
Tickets are £26 per person and include a meet and greet with Santa Claus onboard the train as well as a special Christmas gift and North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) backpack for each child onboard the Santa Express.
The ages of children will need to be given when booking and children under 12 months of age can travel free however, a seat and a gift will not be provided.
For anyone wishing to give your own present, Santa will be more than happy to hand this out.
Santa Special Departure dates will take place on the following weekends:
- 4th & 5th December
- 11th & 12th December
- 18th & 19th December
- 20th to 24th December
Departing from Pickering Station at:
9:35am, 11:10am, 13:55pm and 15:30pm
Departing from Grosmont Station at:
10:15am, 12:30pm, 14:35pm
Whilst enjoying a visit to the NYMR, you can also visit the wonderful gift shop which will be full of ideas for Christmas presents for your nearest and dearest railway enthusiasts!
By shopping at the NYMR gift shop not only will you be giving a special present, you will also be supporting the running of the heritage railway as all funds go directly to the charity which will help keep the NYMR steaming from winter to the 2022 season.
If you cannot visit the shop, there is also an online shop which is well stocked with Christmas gifts such as NYMR exclusive mugs, clothing, books and calendars and even includes festive pyjamas, socks along with NYMR gift vouchers.
The shop will also be stocking a new and exclusive NYMR Herdy Mug which is now available both in-store and online.
