Attack at Woolwich Arsenal DLR station East London

A man was violently assaulted at DLR station on Friday, 10th September at around 11.55am.

Police have recently released CCTV footage of a man they believe may be able to help with the investigation.

The victim was standing on the platform, when a man got off a train and punched him.

It is understood the two men do not know each other. The man chased the victim as he tried to run away, where he pulled him to the ground and kicked and punched him in the upper body and the head before walking away.

The victim suffered severe facial injuries, including a split lip, and a broken tooth, and needed to attend hospital for treatment.
