Studio Canal, the producers of the new Railway Children Return film, have released their first look video of The Railway Children Return which is set to arrive in cinemas from the 1st April 2022 and was filmed on and around the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
In the first look video (which can be seen below) the main locomotives of the film are featured at a number of locations, with 45596 Bahamas (as 5596), 4F 43924 (as 3924) and Big Jim 5820.
The story of the film follows a new group of children who have been evacuated to the Yorkshire village of Oakworth during World War 2.
Railway Children Return stars Sheridan Smith, Jenny Agutter, who resumes her role from the original film, as well as BAFTA winning Tom Courtenay and John Bradley.
Haworth and Oakworth were chosen as the main locations of the film, with the Blu-Ray and DVD release including a documentary and interviews with key original cast members.
