The popular and festive Christmas Pullman Dining experience returns to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway from December 2021!
Tickets will go on sale from Tuesday the 12th for the fabulously festive feast on rails. The culinary delights will include delicious warming starters following with traditional roast main courses, finishing with the festive-favourite, Christmas pud.
The Christmas Moorlander will depart from Grosmont Station from Thursdays to Sundays throughout December before Christmas Day and from Pickering Station for the 29th, 30th and 31st of December 2021 and also including the 1st & 2nd of January 2022.
Prices for a table of two are £149, and for a table of four will be £298, with a private compartment for four priced at £303.
A complimentary glass of mulled wine is available for guests upon arrival which will be followed by a collection of tasty seasonal starters including chestnut, parsnip and bacon soup, smoked salmon with beetroot and vodka Creme Fraiche or a caramelised red onion and goats cheese tart. The main course offers a choice of festive turkey or beef, poached salmon fillet or a vegetable Wellington.
Pudding is a must, with a delicious assortment of homemade sweet treats such as apple, cinnamon and sultana pie or orange and cranberry cheesecake and have been firm favourites on the festive experience.
The journey itself is another wonderful experience through the picturesque North York Moors and with mince pies, handmade chocolates and freshly brewed coffee to go alongside its no wonder that the NYMR's Christmas Pullman Dining experiences are so well-loved.
