The Swanage Railway has released details of its new job vacancy to find a new Operations Assistant.
The Swanage Railway carries around 200,000 passengers a year and the successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver a safe and reliable/punctual train service using a range of steam and diesel locomotives.
The salary for this role is £20,800 and as Operations Assistant you will have to complete effective rostering, supervise the use of carriage washing equipment and complete operational roles at the railway, including guarding, signalling, firing and driving.
Working around 40 hours a week, with flexible working hours and days, and you will receive 30 days of holiday.
The closing date for applications is Friday 6th August 2021, with interviews taking place on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th August 2021.
