Police appeal after boulders placed on railway line in Leeds

The have announced that they are investigating an incident that occurred on the railway line in West Yorkshire.

On Tuesday the 29th June, just before 7 pm, boulders were placed onto the railway line in close to Redcote Lane.

British Transport Police have said that reports have also come in of a group of people being on the railway line at the same location on Saturday the 3rd July.

These boulders could have caused damage to trains and other railway equipment, as well as endangering the lives of passengers and railway employees.
