Leighton Buzzard Railway to host the Bedfordshire Whisky Festival

The has announced that the Bedfordshire Whisky Festival will return to the railway again this year.

Taking place on Saturday 28th August, there will also be an extended range of gins on offer too.

The event will follow the format of the 2019 festival, it was not possible to hold the event last year.

The event will take place from 10.45am to 4pm at Page's Park in the engine shed.

Tickets cost £2 for those who book before 15th August or £3 on the day.

It is expected that around 60 whiskies, gins, spirits and premixed cocktails will be available, for tasting from just £1 per taste.

There will also be soft drinks on hand, plus food from the popular Miss Kavita's Kitchen.

An enhanced train service will be in operation on the day with trains running from 10.30 and 3.30.

Festival organiser Rocky Lancer said “I'm delighted that the Leighton Buzzard Railway have agreed to host the Bedfordshire Whisky Festival again in 2021. With all the profits being donated to the railway, I'm looking forward to many customers enjoying the day and supporting a good cause at the same time.”
