The Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway has announced that there have been some changes to the Railway Rally event this weekend.

Mechanical problems mean that Caledonian Railway 419 can no longer visit.

However, the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway has announced this morning that replacing 419 at the event is Terrier ‘Knowle’, from the Isle of Wight Railway and Lucie, courtesy of Piglet and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

The visiting locomotives will be in action at the gala, which starts tomorrow, 25th June, and runs until the 28th June 2021.

Lucie and Knowle join with Keighley Gasworks No. 2 (from the Tanfield Railway) as well as resident locomotives for the gala.

The Autocar will also be running on Saturday and Sunday, providing an additional treat for your tickets.

This will be the first time Lucie has hauled a passenger train in over 20 years after its restoration was completed last year.
