Police appeal launched after teenager robbed on ScotRail train in Glasgow

Detectives from the have released an appeal for witnesses after a boy was robbed on a ScotRail train from Cumbernauld to Central.

On Wednesday 19th May, around 5:15 pm, the victim was approached by a man who threatened him with violence or to hand over his personal items.

The boy gave him his bag and the man left the train at Station.

The man is described as white, in his early 20s, medium build, ginger hair and beard, and was wearing a white Tommy Hilfiger t-shirt and grey joggers at the time of the incident.

The train service was extremely busy at the time of the robbery and officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw anything.
