The Churnet Valley Railway (CVR) has confirmed that the very popular The Polar Express event will be returning for 2021.

Tickets for this much missed service go on sale from Tuesday 1st June 2021.

Starting from £24.99, it is highly recommended by the Railway to book your tickets for the train shortly after they go on sale to avoid disappointment.

As one of the best Christmas time experiences, passengers feel as if the magical story is their own as they travel to meet Santa on a one-hour round trip, where each passenger receives a gift.

In a further announcement, the Churnet Valley Railway has also announced that all passengers who requested to defer their booking from 2020s cancelled “Santa & Steam Adventure” will be upgraded free of charge to THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride following agreement with the licence holders.

  • AH This is Jolly Great News… I always knew the Churnet Valley Railway (in Staffordshire) would succeed in Reclaiming, let alone Resurrect the Popular Polar Express Event… especially for this Winter 2021-22, let alone hopefully this Christmas 2021.

This is another highlight of the year 2021… even for the UK Preservation Movement (in my book).
