Jubilee line service

Just before 10 am on Sunday 28th March a robbery took place on the Jubilee line between Bermondsey and Westminster Underground stations.

CCTV has been released showing a man approaching a female on the train asking to use her phone so he could phone a friend

She handed her phone over and then he refused to hand the phone back. He returned her phone after she said she was getting off at the next stop.

Then she moved to a busier part of the train and then he proceeded to follow her when he jumped on top of her and snatched her phone and put it in his bag.

  • If only someone would of stopped this then the situation would of been reduced. And the lady would of been lot safer from the Good Samaritan. This thief needs banning on public transport.
