Two people charged after incident at Liverpool Lime Street Station

have announced that two teenagers have been charged after an incident at railway station last week.

The British Transport Police attended an incident around 11:30 on March the 19th after reports of a serious assault.

Kyle Anthony Kearney, aged 18, of Old Chester Road, Rock Ferry and a second teen, aged 17, who cannot be named for legal reasons have been charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a bladed article.

British Transport Police said they have both been remanded in custody and are next due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on April 21st.

Paramedics attended the scene of the incident at Liverpool Lime Street station, and a teenager was taken to the hospital where they confirmed the injuries were neither life-threatening nor life-changing.
