Young Railway photographer competition returns for 2021 – supported by the Bahamas Locomotive Society

The Young Railway Photographer Of The Year Awards returns for 2021, allowing youngsters to showcase their railway photography.

The are supporting the competition alongside the National Railway Museum, Network Rail, Jessops, Mortons Media, Bauer Media and TimeLine Events.

If you want to enter, you would need to submit six photographs which have been taken since the 1st January 2019.

There are two categories:

  • Category One: Photographers under 18
  • Category Two: Photographers between 19 and 25

The deadline for entries is the 1st November 2021 and photos can be submitted by visiting the Young Railway Photographer of the Year Awards website.

Items up for winning are a Nikon Coolpix P900, courtesy of Jessops, magazine vouchers, railway experiences as well as a Forth Bridge experience, courtesy of Network Rail.
