DISRUPTION: Leeds train services cancelled as emergency services attend ‘incident’

Emergency services are currently dealing with an incident that is affecting trains between and .

All lines are currently blocked and means trains may be cancelled or diverted.

Services between Leeds and Manchester Victoria via are being disrupted whilst the incident is attended to. Trains will be diverted via Bradford Interchange and will not call at Morley, Batley, Dewsbury, Mirfield and Brighouse.

The first service to be affected is the 11:17 Leeds to Manchester Victoria / Wigan Wallgate which will divert via Bradford Interchange

A rail replacement bus has departed Leeds at 11:35 and will call at Morley, Batley, Dewsbury, Mirfield, Brighouse and Sowerby Bridge.

Journey times will be extended by up to 45 minutes using replacement road transport.

Disruption is expected until 13:00.
