The Trust returned to Bridgnorth during the August Bank Holiday and work concentrated on the pony trucks, with work resuming from where it was left in March.

More grease lubrication lines were fitted, but the Trust is awaiting more fittings to be machined before this job can be completed successfully.

Bespoke bolts and screws are also in production, and the Trust is also awaiting these to be completed at the time of writing.

Painting of components has also been completed over the bank holiday, and some lubrication pipes supplying the pony trucks need to be fitted on the chassis before the pony trucks are placed under the chassis.

Two lubrication pipes have been fitted, under the coal bunker. Two drainage pipes from the coal space have been fitted under bunker as well, which is necessary before the rear pony truck is put into place.

Work on the firebox is in progress with various sections being marked for drilling and also a trial assembly.

Some parts for the rocking grate mechanism have now been fabricated, which is great news from the Trust as more parts are made for the locomotive.
