The countdown to Christmas has begun, and tickets are now on sale for the North Yorkshire Moors Railway's Santa Specials.
Things are a little different, but the NYMR says there will still be festive cheer thanks to Santa and his elves coming to save Christmas.
However, it has been a challenging time for everyone, and Santa needs your help. His reindeers have been furloughed, presents need building and his sleigh is out of action.
Hop on board a heritage steam train at Pickering for a Christmas adventure to Levisham, and you might catch Santa himself too.
Tickets include interaction with Santa's elves, a photo opportunity, a private compartment, return travel from Pickering to Levisham and a present for each child.
Laura Strangeway, Head of Marketing at NYMR, said: “We're so excited to officially be counting down to Christmas here at the railway! Our Santa Specials are always really magical and we hope that our reimagined Santa experience will be just as good. We've had to tweak things slightly this year to ensure we adhere to government guidelines but we're sure NYMR's Christmas 2020 will be every bit as magical as previous years. We can't wait to see the railway decked out and whisk our guests off on a magical festive journey!”
Tickets cost £100 per compartment, for a maximum of four people, and £25 per additional adult up to a maximum of six per compartment.
Trains will depart from Pickering at 09:15, 11:15, 13.15 and 15:15 on December 5 and 6, 12 and 13, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24th.
