Tickets for the 's season trains have now been placed on sale for passengers to book.

Fares for 2020 have been held at 2019 prices, making these trains great value for money.

Saturday 5th December will see the start of the Leighton Buzzard Railway's Santa Steam Trains, with these running for 11 days, the last running on Christmas Eve.

Then, once all the turkey has been cooked, and roast potatoes are eaten (and those Brussel Sprouts), the Leighton Buzzard Railway will begin operating their Mince Pie Specials on Sunday 27th and Monday 28th December, however, the After Dark trains have had to be cancelled for 2020.

To compensate for this, from Saturday 19th December until Wednesday 23rd December, a 1630 train will run to offer an experience once the sun has set.

Due to high demand, and reduced capacity due to coronavirus, priority was given to the Leighton Buzzard Railway's newsletter subscribers. More than 400 spaces have now been filled, which is 10% of the capacity for December.

To make sure everyone stays safe, both sets of carriages will be used, with one being cleaned whilst the other heads away on its 25 minute round trip. Mince Pies and punch will be served on the train with passengers seeing Santa at intervals after their journey.
