Stadler agrees deal for supply of Radox railway cables

Huber and Suhner have announced it has been chosen as the supplier of Radox railway cables to after the two companies extend their agreement for another three years until 2023.

The company will supply an important part of Stadler's global cable demand as part of the new Global Price Agreement.

The collaboration between Stadler and Huber and Suhner has been around for more than 20 years, and this is the latest milestone between the two companies.

Under the agreement, Huber and Suhner will provide Stadler with Radox cables for power, control and communication across its electric trains, trams, and tailor-made vehicles.

Damiano Freda, Global Lead Buyer for Wires and Cables at Stadler, says: “We are very happy to select HUBER+SUHNER as our preferred cable partner for a further three years. The reputation of HUBER+SUHNER within Stadler has been enhanced through the technical strength and quality of its products which is combined with excellent delivery performance.”
