The Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway has announced the cancellation of its 2020 Halloween Ghost Trains.

The event at the railway is very popular, usually attracting around 4,000 passengers each year.

Unfortunately due to COVID-19 and local lockdown measures in place across South Wales, it is not possible to run the event.

The Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway will be reviewing options for the Steam Santa specials and will provide an update on those soon.

The railway hopes that the COVID-19 situation improves during the coming weeks, and that some form of service can run.

  • So sorry to here about the P&BR having to Cancel it’s own Popular Halloween Ghost Train Events,

My heart still goes out to the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway, as well as to those within-between.

I do hope the P&BR continue to get back on track in all ways possible.
