After yesterday’s terrible train crash, which has taken the lives of a train driver, conductor, and passenger, a fundraiser has been set up to help the families of the train driver and conductor, who left for work, but never returned.

Dave Downey, from Blackpool, has set up the fundraiser, which, at the time of writing, has already raised over £3,000

In the GoFundMe page, it says that whatever money is raised, it will be split 50/50 between the families of the conductor and train driver.

An investigation has been launched into what happened to 1T08, the 0638 Aberdeen to Glasgow Queen Street service.

Currently, it is known that the driver, conductor and a passenger died in the crash, with 6 people being taken to hospital to be treated for ‘non-life-threatening’ injuries.
