  • I must say… That ex-Southern Railway steam loco ”British India Line” is one of the most Popular, Successful and Well-Preserved tender locomotives… Within Preservation.

Interestingly, This locomotive is one of an excellent 11 examples of the Classic Southern Railway Merchant Navy Class of Steam Locomotive Design… Full of Character & Also of Historic Nostalgia Too.

Amazingly that this Steam Loco and most other fellow preserved & thankfully rescued Surviving Steam Locos each have A Remarkably Intriguing Preservation Story to Tell.
