The Ruislip Lido Railway has announced that they have made the decision to cancel their Santa Specials this year.
Social distancing measures are in place at the Ruislip Lido Railway, allowing them to resume running again. However, it is likely that this would be impractical for the Santa Specials.
The Ruislip Lido Railway has also said: “given Santa's age we have some early signs from the North Pole that even he will be socially distancing this year”.
It is hoped that the Santa Specials will return in December 2021.
However, for 2020, Santa Specials weekend will be replaced by a standard weekend running service.
