  • It is so sad that the railway will not be running this year. Unfortunately Covid 19 has not been the only problem but I hope matters can be resolved so that it gets back to normal. All of the main players in heritage railways are running some sort of service and they are all charitable trusts. Hopefully this is the way forward, need the smell of steam again and hearing the whistles from my bungalow 6 miles away. WSR is unique and needs to get back on the rails. Despite what some others might say, the people of this area are behind you.

  • Wow, The West Somerset Railway (which I myself, still hope to visit ‘in-person’ someday)… Have once again been doing so well, so far… On this fundraising role in fighting back & Combating Covid-19.

The WSR most definitely has A Fantastically-Secured Future Ahead… This Heritage Railway is still indeed (even in my book), one of the longest Preserved Railways within the UK Preservation Movement.

I’d most look forward to hopefully travel down to and visiting for A Memorable Train Ride up and down the Well-Restored 20-odd mile long WSR ‘in-person’… Someday.
