The has announced that they have opened bookings for August 2020 following the success of steam trains since their return.

The new service will now feature two steam locomotives, hauling six return trains a day from Sheringham throughout August.

The station at Holt will also be reopening in August too.

For return journeys, tickets can be booked from their website at www.nnrailway.co.uk – for single journeys, passengers should go to the ticket office at Holt or Sheringham and ask if there is space left.

Compartment tickets for up to four people are still £35 for a return journey, with additional adults at £10 and additional children aged between 4-15 at £5 each.

  • I’d like to Congratulate & Wish the North Norfolk Railway, A Jolly Well Done so far on Reopening Back Up and Running… This Anglian Heritage Railway Attraction, let alone A Transportation Destination… is on My ”Eagerly-Must-Visit” Destinations List.

Having so far only seen the NNR through Photography, Film & Media, I still hope to Travel to & Aimfully Visit & Ride the North Norfolk Railway ‘in-person’ someday.

Also, the NNR is Truly indeed known as… The Poppy Line.
