(LNER) has released a video showing the view their drivers see while working trains along the route between Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

The route, which is covered in just over two hours and 30 minutes, links two key cities in Scotland, carrying tens of thousands of passengers each year.

Thanks to the LNER who operate trains over the route you can now see the route from your front room!

The video created by LNER can be watched below:

Other routes which you can view on LNER's YouTube channel include:

  1. London King's Cross to Edinburgh
  2. London King's Cross to Leeds
  3. Leeds to Harrogate
  4. Edinburgh to Newcastle

Further journeys are planned to be uploaded soon.

  • It’s great LNER have uploaded these videos but it would be even better if they were in real time!

  • Despite some who are complaining that the video is too fast to watch. I actually enjoyed watching it.
