SVR's marketing manager Dan Shorthouse said: “Whilst we can't open to run our normal services, we wanted to find a way to show our thanks to NHS staff who are giving so much during this difficult time. We've worked closely with Betalite to create something to capture the imagination, and they've delivered something we are very proud of!”

  • Wow, The Severn Valley Railway sure does really usefully supports the NHS, As much as the NHS itself is also supporting the SVR itself within-between.

My heart still goes out to this Terrific ex-Cross Country Heritage Railway and it’s crews, volunteers and fleet of locos all-round and in-between.

I do hope the SVR shall eventually reopen and run trains up and down the line again eventually.

Especially, As (I, Myself) hope to visit and ride aboard for A Memorable train ride up and down this stunningly-restored Railway Line ‘in-person’ someday.
