The has raised £600 in their Covid-19 Impact Appeal; however, they are looking to raise £10,000 to cover costs while they are shut.

The NLR has opened up purchases of Gift Cards via the Northampton and Lamport Railway website. By purchasing one of these, you are providing the NLR with vital funds, whilst giving yourself something to look forward to once lockdown is lifted.

Gift Cards can be redeemed online for any event once the NLR is open again – additionally, they are valid for two years, so there is plenty of time to redeem them.

Gift Cards can be bought by visiting their website here.

There are also other ways of donating to the Northampton and Lamport Railway appeal:

  • The Northampton & Lamport Railway is once again one of the most interesting/”Eagerly-Must-Visit” Heritage Railways & Attractions I have ever come across/discovered over the years.

The NLR (whom I Believe) definitely has the potential of extensively-expanding within both directions, Especially Northwards as far as Lamport (which I again believe) is as far North this Heritage Railway shall likely reach.

A Jolly Well Done to the NLR so far on it’s own Appeal in fundraising to combat/fight back so-called Covid-19 in anyways possible by the way.

I’m pretty completely sure the Notoriously Painstakingly Well-Restored Northampton & Lamport Railway shall most definitely successfully succeed on this Appeal, As well on it’s long-term ambitious goals in extending further up the line en-route to Lamport via Brixworth (and back).

I still hope on visiting this Popular Heritage Railway Attraction ‘in-person’ someday (As I myself have so far only seen this through media film and photography in-between).
