The 82045 Steam Locomotive Trust have published their March 2020 update, with the recent progress made in the construction of new build British Railways Standard Class 3 Tank No.82045.

Machining of the piston rods and heads has started, with more work needed before they are finished.

To finish off painting the pony trucks, some dismantling has taken place. Some painting still needs to be completed once work resumes after the restrictions due to COVID-19 are lifted. Pipe runs for the grease lubrication pipes have been formed, and trial fitted.

Classic Cars Ltd have recently completed two sections of firebox's cladding, which are both front top corners. Some sections of the firebox's plates have been marked up to show where stays will be fitted.
