The Ruislip Lido Railway has released an update on their plans for 2020 following the pandemic lockdown.

The railway will start running trains once again when the Government and RLR deem it safe to do so – so the line will remain closed for the time being.

The Easter Eggspress trains, which were rescheduled from April to June, have now been cancelled altogether and will return in 2021.

The Easter Bunny has agreed to donate all his Easter Eggs to the NHS heroes and those most impacted by COVID-19.

The Lido Railway has also decided to postpone their 75th Gala, which will now take place in June 2021.

Here at RailAdvent, we know this must be disappointing, but this is the best decision. Please do stay at home and follow the guidance.
