WATCH: Steam locomotives at Speed!

During these difficult times of quarantine and lockdown in the UK due to the Coronavirus outbreak around the world, ourselves and every other railway enthusiast cannot get out to film any steam locomotive action on the mainline and on the heritage railway scene.

So to help cheer people up, here’s a compilation of steam locomotives at speed on the mainline, showcasing steam at its best! Made by RailView. 

This video sees a variety of 16 steam locomotives from all the big four regions and British Railways from the past four years from 2016 to 2020.

From the west country, the East Midlands, West Midlands, the Hope Valley, the East Coast Mainline, the West Coast Mainline, Derbyshire, Yorkshire and the Lake District with key locations such as Doncaster, Grindleford & Slitting Mill (just outside Staveley, Derbyshire).
