The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway has announced that their Cotswold Festival of Steam has been cancelled.

This decision follows government advice, after today, Boris Johnson told people to avoid social contact that is unnecessary.

The organising team have cancelled the visiting steam locomotives set to visit for the gala.

However, if circumstances allow, the GWSR want to run as many of the home fleet locoomotives as possible, although that cannot be guaranteed.

Any visitors that have booked tickets will be refunded.
