TransPennine Upgrade events cancelled – consultation is open however

Network Rail has announced that the eight face to face public consultation events due to take place regarding the TransPennine Upgrade have been cancelled.

However, the public consultation remains open. Residents are being encouraged to provide feedback on 's proposals to upgrade the railway between Huddersfield and Westtown (Dewsbury) as part of the Transpennine Upgrade.

Residents can view Network Rail's proposals and provide feedback by visiting www.networkrail.co.uk/transpennineengagement

Network Rail has also confirmed that all engineers, designers and specialists will able to talk over the phone or email.
