Train operators help Flybe passengers with FREE travel amid company collapse

and First Group has announced that it is offering free travel for Flybe passengers after the company went into administration yesterday.

Free travel is currently only valid for travel TODAY (Thursday 5th March 2020).

To gain free travel on Avanti West Coast trains, passengers will need to show a Flybe ticket to railway staff.

Flybe staff can also travel for free on AWC services, all they need to do is show a valid Flybe ID to train staff.

Avanti West Coast offers trains between London Euston and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh Waverley via Milton Keynes, Nuneaton, Birmingham, Crewe, Preston and Carlisle, with trains also running to Holyhead.

First Group acceptance is valid on any of their routes, including , , First and .

Northern has also confirmed that they will have ticket acceptance in place on their network. All passengers or staff need to do is show a ticket or pass.

London North Eastern Railway has now confirmed that ticket acceptance is in place for staff and passengers, they just need a boarding pass or staff pass.

Flybe passengers and staff can travel for free on c2c services until the 12th March.

CrossCountry is offering free standard class on any time train from now until the end of day on Sunday 8th March to get people home.
