has released its top tips for Festival-goers who are travelling by train from Birmingham New Street.

With thousands of people travelling by train from Birmingham to the world-famous meet this week, railway racegoers are being encouraged to:

  • plan their journeys
  • check before they travel
  • allow extra time to catch their train.

Network Rail stewards will be in Birmingham New Street station to help passengers throughout the event from today, Monday 10th March 2020, until Friday 13th March.

Station manager, and top travel tipster, Paddy Power, said:

“Travelling by train to Cheltenham is my top tip. Passengers can increase the odds of a successful journey by allowing more time to catch their train. That's tip number two.

“To avoid a long face, my third tip is always check before you travel at www.nationalrail.co.uk.”
