Steam locomotive 60163 Tornado heading to York tomorrow – despite coronavirus

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS OF CORONAVIRUS OR HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS SYMPTOMS, PLEASE DO NOT HEAD OUT TO SEE TORNADO

Ex-LNER ‘A1’ No. 60163 ‘Tornado’ will be in Thirsk this Friday as it heads to the York NRM.

This movement was meant to be for a railtour, but due to coronavirus, the railtour has been cancelled.

Departing Northallerton Wensleydale Railway at 06:15, the locomotive will pass through Northallerton (06:30), Thirsk (06:39), York (08:41) and York NRM at 09:00.
