Porterbrook has announced that it has been accredited as of the Midlands' top companies to work for.
The train leasing company has received a Best Companies star rating.
Porterbrook was found to have ‘very good' levels of engagement across its workforce.
Porterbrook's employees are involved in a wide variety of projects, from managing a fleet of more than 4,500 rail vehicles, to developing innovative solutions to help decarbonise Britain's railway.

As Porterbrook owns the Class 350 (Class 350/2). Will Porterbrook convert the Class 350/2 Desiro EMUs to have batteries fitted so it can operate on electrified and non-electrified lines. Or maybe to convert the Class 350/2 as Hydrogen multiple unit. As West Midlands Trains is to replace the Class 350/2 with the Class 730 Aventra stocks for West Midlands Railway and London Northwestern Railway in the next couple years.
Perhaps the Class 350/2s Desiro could be cascaded to ScotRail to be used on Edinburgh Waverley-Alloa, Dunblane, Stirling, Dunbar and North Berwick routes. And on some suburban lines in the Glasgow and Strathclyde areas. And to work with the existing electric trains including the Class 385s. Or cascaded to Transport for Wales to operate on Cardiff Central-Bristol Parkway stopper service and some lines in the Cardiff area to be electrified.
Or cascaded to other train operators such as Greater Anglia to operate on some local branch line services in Essex and the Hertford East service.
Maybe Porterbrook could buy the Class 379 Electrostars from Macquarie European Rail who brought the Class 379s when they were built in 2010-2011 and to convert the Class 379s into BEMU or Hydrogen multiple units or to cascade the Class 379 to GWR, Heathrow Express or Great Northern.
Or cascade the Class 379 to Gautrain to allow them to work with the existing Gautrain Electrostar stocks.
