MAJOR DISRUPTION: Person hit by train between Preston and Lancaster

It has been confirmed that a person has been hit by a train between Lancaster and Preston.

This incident now means that all lines are blocked.

Trains running between these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 90 minutes.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

LNER services between Edinburgh and London King's Cross to complete your journey

Northern Travel Advice:

Road replacement transport has been requested to operate between Preston and Lancaster.
