As carries on sweeping the UK, many railways are choosing to cancel or postpone events, some are even choosing to suspend train services altogether.

With so many railways around the country, we thought it would be useful to have one page with all the cancellations and postponements that are taking place, and also include railways that are operating.

Covid-19 is a fast-moving pandemic, with information changing all the time. Please check with the relevant railways to see where you stand if you have pre-booked tickets.

If you believe we may have missed one, then please get in touch. If you have found this page and other parts of the RailAdvent website useful, then please consider supporting us with a RailAdvent Plus membership.

  • So sorry to check out the many postponements and unexpected cancellations,
I feel quite gutted for the Heritage Railway Industry.

My heart goes out to each and every other Heritage Railway and Transport Museum, As well as those affected by such A Dastardly Virus.

I do hope (with my support) that after some few months, even once the virus has long gone, The UK Heritage Railway Industry shall rebuild confidence in getting back on its feet and eventually move on too.
