Coronavirus: Mid Norfolk Railway shuts doors as PM says to avoid social contact

The has announced that they have chosen to temporarily close the railway to visitors.

Today, the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, announced that the public should begin avoiding non-essential travel and venues.

Therefore, the MNR has chosen to close until at least the 4th April 2020.

Visitors who have pre-booked for Cream/High Tea will be contacted by the Mid Norfolk Railway soon.

What did they say?

The Mid Norfolk Railway said:

We will monitor the situation and will send out a further update when necessary.

We are very sorry to make this decision but we must follow the advice from health and governmental bodies.
