Coronavirus: Burnley’s miniature railway suspends train services

The has announced that they have suspended train services until further notice.

This follows on from the government announcing new guidance regarding avoiding unnecessary travel and social contact.

This is, of course, in addition to the fact that passengers sit in small 7 1/4″ carriages, all in close confinement.

The Thompson Park Railway follows in other railway's footsteps of cancelling events and closing railways.
