CLEARED: Alarm causes delay to trains at Clapham Junction

It has been confirmed that the communication alarm has been activated on a train at and is causing to trains in the area.

As a result of this incident, trains may be delayed or revised.

Disruption is expected until 09:30.

Passengers can still use their normal route, and all stations are still being served. However, your journey may take longer.

The 08:16 London Victoria – Eastbourne service is currently delayed in the Clapham Junction area.

This is now causing delays to some other and train services from London Victoria.

The alarm was used due to an unwell passenger, and this passenger is now being provided help.

Some trains from Clapham Junction will leave from Platform 15 instead of Platform 13.

Southern are working with the train crew to assess the situation.
