Steam locomotive 45699 Galatea (as 45562 Alberta) will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in Hebden Bridge and Manchester on Saturday 29th February 2020.
The Jubilee locomotive is on a special railtour tomorrow. 45562 Alberta is hauling the Cotton Mill Express on Saturday.
We believe this tour to be hauled by 45562 Alberta, however, this can change at short notice.
The railtour departs Lancaster at 08:08, and will then pass through Preston (08:35), Wigan North Western (08:56), Eccles (09:31), Manchester Victoria (10:14), Stalybridge (10:30), Marsden (11:15), Brighouse (11:33), Hebden Bridge (11:58), Accrington (12:47) and Blackburn at 12:59.
From Blackburn (departure at 14:10), the train will then head through Chorley (14:42), Bolton (14:57), Manchester Victoria (15:14), Stalybridge (15:44), Huddersfield (16:24), Brighouse (16:33), Hebden Bridge (16:58), Rochdale (17:30), Manchester Victoria (18:27), Eccles (18:40), Wigan North Western (19:11), Preston (19:35) and Lancaster at 20:33.
