Steam locomotive 45596 Bahamas on tour heading through Skipton this Saturday

Steam locomotive 45596 Bahamas will be back in steam on the mainline and will be on a tour passing through Keighley and Skipton on its way to Carlisle on Saturday 22nd February 2020.

The Jubilee locomotive is on a special railtour tomorrow with 45596 is hauling The Bahamas Railtour.

The railtour departs Oxenhope behind the locomotive at approximately 08:30 am.

Travelling through Haworth and Keighley and then onto the mainline, the locomotive will pass through Skipton (09:33), Hellifield (09:48), Ribblehead (10:57), Appleby (11:35), Langwathby (11:51), and finally Carlisle at 12:48.

The return journey will depart Carlisle at 15:29, and will then pass through Appleby (16:15), Garsdale (17:03), Ribblehead (17:16), Gargrave (18:23), Skipton (18:33), and Keighley at 18:46, where a KWVR resident will haul the tour up to Oxenhope.
