It has been confirmed that a person has been hit by a train at , near , and means all lines are blocked.

Trains through this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised. This is expected until 20:45.

passengers should note that road transport has been requested and is confirmed as follows –

  • 19.00 Huddersfield – (via Mirfield, Dewsbury, Batley, Morley) – Leeds
  • 19.03 Huddersfield – via booked stations – Wakefield Kirkgate
  • 19.10 Wakefield Kirkgate – via booked stations – Huddersfield
passengers may use their ticket on the following services:
  • London North Eastern Railway between York and Edinburgh.
  • Northern via any reasonable route.
  • CrossCountry between Sheffield, Leeds and Scotland.
  • East Midlands Railway between Manchester and Sheffield.
  • Metrolink between Manchester stations.
