  • I previously saw the Gwili Railway more than a few years ago, when my mum and I briefly resided down in this part of Wales.

Disappointingly, I never rode the Gwili Railway, nor on the Narrow Gauge Teifi Valley Railway (which I also saw and visited ‘in-person’).

However, I though to myself, Even if I do revisit this part of Wales again one day, I’ll definitely try and ride the rails of this Well-Restored Welsh Country Railway, especially along it’s Abergwili Junction extension too.

  • I wonder how the Gwili Railway are doing, especially on their southern extension down into Abergwili Junction.

By the way, Surprised to learn that this well-restored pannier tank hadn’t roamed the West of the Border in over 60 years.

The Gwili Railway lot must be so lucky to welcome a fellow restored pannier tank loco to their own fleet.
